Sydney Day Three

We started yesterday with a stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park. We were there very early so the animals were awake and our group of 38 were the only ones there. Many of the animals are right in the open. Some, of course, need to be in enclosures. Look for the baby in mama kangaroo’s pouch!imageimageimage image

I am having some trouble getting the photos to post exactly where I want them, so I apologize for their scattered placement. We then embarked on a “foodie tour of Sydney”.  Each stop was like a full meal. We visited an Italian deli which reminder us of La Villa at home, a gelato bar, the fish marker, Harry’s Cafe d’ Wheels, and a pub for delicious beer sampling. In the evening we saw the Opera Carmen. We were still so stuffed from lunch that we had a glass of wine and cheese at an outdoor cafe by the Opera House before the performance. We shared a table with a delightful couple from New Zealand.  The performance was wonderful and it gives me goosebumps to be able to say that we saw the opera here!

  2. I am really enjoying the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems? A small number of my blog readers have complained about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any ideas to help fix this issue?
