A Day With Our “Aussie Family”

Yesterday we met up with Megan and Glenn, our Australian “family”. They were kind enough to travel into Sydney from their home, which is about an hour away. We caught a ferry to Watson’s Bay, a very quiet little place. The weather was again spectacular and we had a long lunch outside at a wonderful restaurant called Doyle’s. We haven’t seen Megan and Glenn for ten years, and then only briefly, but felt so close to them. We got all caught up on our families and learned a bit about the “locals”. I didn’t want to say good-bye to them! In the evening we again joined Neil and Ellen for a delicious Asian dinner at a restaurant in the Moolamoolamo (that’s right) section of Sydney, called China Doll. Off to Wellington New Zealand this morning.
