This week we had our first significant rain in four years, hopefully, portending the end to our four-year drought in California! I went out in the rain and captured these shots for my Weekly Photo Gallery.

I can relate. My sister and her family have recently relocated to California after living in 3 rain abundant countries. They rave about the wonderful climate but my niece did note how surprised she is she actually misses the rain. She said the one time they have had rain she ran out on to the street and danced like a mad thing!
