Today I am joining an new challenge, Heyjude’s April: Macros in the Garden. These shots are from my garden and I used my Olympus OM D EM-5 camera and either my 14-150mm lens, reversed, or my new 60mm macro lens.

You must have a very colourful garden. I love the succulents and I too have the 60mm macro lens. It is fun to use but also quite tricky I find. I look forward to more links to the garden challenge this year. Thanks for joining in 🙂

Yes, I almost returned the lens! I found Robin Wong’s reviews very helpful for understanding the settings on the lens and how to set my aperture.

I tend to just change to manual focus, but that doesn’t always work either!

Beautiful macro images Susan. I especially like the succulents having just returned from Arizona to back home in NJ.

Thank you! And thanks, too, for introducing us to Larry. His work is breathtaking!
