From time to time I introduce you to another blogger on my site. Today I am going back to the first blogger I ever knew about and the person responsible for me starting my own blog. I don’t even remember how I first heard about Rozanne Pilbeam and her blog, but I have followed her for the past three years and she is amazing.
Rozanne, whose trail name was “Muk Muk”, hiked the entire Pacific Crest Trail, solo, in 2013. The trail is 2,663 miles long and the hike took her just under six months. Rozanne documented her entire trip with her iPhone, posting beautifully written journal entries, photos and videos almost daily. Her hike was fraught with adventure and her followers waited with much anticipation for the next installment. You can go back and re-live her entire trip at Mexico to Canada 2013 .
Rozanne has transitioned her blog to Serial Nomad and she is about to undertake the world’s longest annual canoe and kayak race: The Yukon River Quest – 715 km (444 miles) from Whitehorse to Dawson City in the Yukon, Canada. She is currently posting about her training and we will be able to follow the race when it commences on June 29th.
Stop by a visit with Rozanne and be prepared to be captivated for hours!
