Yesterday we arrived at the Grand Hotel Trois Rois in Basel and met up with our traveling companions, Ellen and Neal. We had dinner in the restaurant and our friend, Kevin, who works in Switzerland joined us.

Today I did something very special. For the first time I met a blogging friend in person. Pat, of Chronicles of an Anglo Swiss, https://angloswiss-chronicles.com/ met me in Basel and we had lunch! It was so much fun. We talked life, blogging and photography!

This afternoon we boarded our riverboat, The MS INSPIRE. We settled into our cabin, received an orientation to our trip, and enjoyed some wine and a lovely dinner. Tomorrow we’re off to Lucerne.
