Ever since I confessed that my resolution to shoot and post a photo every day was too ambitious, I find that I actually have been shooting several days a week.

I have been anxious to visit one of my favorite spots, Los Gatos Creek Park, to see for myself the changes that our very rainy winter has brought, as we have been in a drought for four years.

I drove over there on Thursday, while we had a break in the rain.  The water in the lake has risen substantially and the ducks are very happy!

I have also been noticing that, even though it is only mid-February, our trees are starting to leaf out and blossom.  I stopped yesterday to shoot this beautiful tree in a parking lot, in full bloom–
