Victim of the Storm

Last night the tree flanking our front porch toppled, blocking the front door.  It just couldn’t take any more rain!  Fortunately, this was the morning for the gardener to come.  He cut it back and staked it for us.  He assured me that it will all fill in again over the Spring and Summer.

  2. Eeek! Glad no one was hurt and the tree was saved! We’ve seen some huge trees go down in various areas in Sacramento. Had they only watered them last summer, even just the tree once a week, they may have survived!
