Almost exactly one month ago, I published a post showing you the milkweed seeds that I had just planted to provide food for the monarch caterpillars which I hope to entice into my garden this summer.  I thought that on Earth Day I would update you on their progress.

The first picture is when they were first planted.  They were just seeds buried in the soil. The second was taken yesterday.  Flourishing seedlings! I just uncovered them because they were getting too tall for the plastic lid which created a mini-greenhouse.
