Tuesday Photo Challenge: “Failing” Water

In a play on the challenge topic “Falling Water”, I am entitling my submission to the Tuesday Challenge, “Failing Water”  https://dutchgoesthephoto.net/2017/05/09/tuesday-photo-challenge-falling-water/

We awoke this morning to no hot water!  We tried to light the pilot with not success.  Our wonderful plumber was able to come out right away and diagnosed a failed thermocouple.  It is replaced, the tank has been drained and refilled, and we are back in business!

I am experimenting with a rented lens this week, assessing whether I want to upgrade to a pro level lens to improve the quality of my photos.  I love the sharpness and will probably buy one soon!  It is an Olympus 40-150 mm Pro to use with my mirrorless Olympus body.
