A round-up of the challenges that I joined last week and the photos that I chose to submit–

Last week my new camera and lens arrived (pictured below).  You can read my post detailing what led me to order new equipment and what I decided on here. I am spending a lot of time learning the features of the camera and playing with settings, primarily by watching the class specific to my camera at  https://www.creativelive.com/

The challenges that I participate in have different themes and rules.  For some, the photo must be taken the week of the challenge, for others you can dig into your archives.  Some even have cash prizes.  Many of the sites have pages on Facebook.  Links are included to the site of each challenge and the theme of the challenge is in the caption of each picture.

I think that other photographers enjoy learning about new challenges. You can share links to ones that you enjoy in the comments section so that we can all check them out.
