Today is the fifth day of the 10 Day Photography Challenge.  We are given a topic a day and asked to post a photo which depicts the topic.  Today’s topic is “Bought by Me”.  I bought this chess set for my husband when I was on a business trip to Athens. The board is marble and the pieces metal, and it weighs a ton.  The woman in the shop didn’t want to ship it to me, she kept insisting that I could carry it with me!  When I said I couldn’t buy it unless she shipped it, she agreed.  I didn’t know if it would ever arrive, but it did! I love buying something on every trip, because I am always reminded of special moments once I am back home.
