This week Nancy has challenged us to share a photo or two of something that we take great satisfaction in having accomplished https://nadiamerrillphotography.wordpress.com/2018/09/06/a-photo-a-week-challenge-the-fruits-of-your-labor/. I think I have accomplished being a pretty good volunteer.

For the past fourteen years I have been a part of the organization that runs this lovely gift shop, which is called The Butter Paddle. All of our profits go to an organization called Uplift Family Services which provides support, counseling and a full range of services for children and their families in crisis.

I work in the shop and have held numerous positions within the organization. I try to be available to help out my fellow volunteers should they need someone to cover their shift or assist with a task.

It brings me great satisfaction to be part of this group and give something back to my community.
