Thursday we celebrate Thanksgiving in the U.S. and several of the challenges that I participate in have themes related to being Thankful, Terri’s theme for her Sunday Stills Challenge.

I cherish this little charm, representing the bond between mother and child. It was given to me by my daughter. She is a sweet, lovely and accomplished woman.  I am very proud of her and so thankful to have her in my life.  The charm came with a card printed with the following:

“The bond between mother and child is unique.  It lasts a lifetime and is based on unconditional love.  It is gentle, kind, pure and remains unchanged by neither time nor distance.  Thank you for your love, your understand and adding so much joy to my life.  The best thing about me is YOU!”
