This week Nancy has challenged us to share a photo of something New. My husband has been wanting to buy me a gift and I’ve been hankering for a Lensball to play with, so I ordered one and it came yesterday. This is one of my first shots. The subject isn’t too exciting, but for a beginner, I’m reasonably satisfied with how it turned out.

I have seen these now and again, but never realised the possibilities. My interest is now awakened and I discovered that they are also available in Switzerland, so I am thinking about it. I am impressed with your photo.

Thank you, Pat. It would be easy to do from a wheelie. Main thing I’ve learned so far, is use a wide angle.

I have a crystal ball that I bought to use like this, but it inverts the image. I haven’t had a chance to take it out for a try yet. Even though you find your image unexciting, I think it’s wonderful! Thanks for joining the challenge, and Happy New Year!
