This week for the Lens-Artist challenge, Patti has chosen the theme of Nature. I dug into my archives for this photo of a monarch caterpillar, taken in my backyard. I never do manage to find the chrysalis after I see the caterpillar, but am fascinated by the lifecycle of butterflies.

Beautiful photo and same here. Each year I plant parsley and get black swallowtail caterpillars. Then they just disappear. I hope the birds don’t get them!!
