This week Nancy, in her A Photo A Week Challenge, has chosen the theme of Rule of Thirds. The Rule of Thirds is a standard that photographers use to compose their image. When following this rule, which can certainly be broken, the image is placed on one of the grid lines or where two lines intersect. Most photo editing software allows for the grid to be superimposed over a photo so that it can be cropped to the thirds. My submission is a lone shell lying on the beach.
