Terri’s theme for her Sunday Stills Challenge this week is Honoring Pink. Almost twenty years ago, in the year 2000, I walked 60 miles in the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. The walk was from Cupertino, California to San Francisco. It was one of my most memorable experiences! My photo is the first page of a newsletter that I put together after the walk, my first experience creating anything of the kind one the computer. I have no online files remaining from that time, but searched through my paper files and found a copy! I haven’t looked at it for many years and it brings back wonderful memories.
The photo image is poor, but I am on the far left in the group photo and that’s also me in the day two picture in front of Crystal Springs Reservoir.
Although a great deal of progress has been made, it is still critical that we support breast cancer research and also make sure to get our yearly exams.

This is so cool, Susan, glad you could find a copy to share!

Thanks, Terri. I thought you’d like it. I was really happy, and surprised, to find a copy. Now I have it scanned and in my photos.
