For this week’s Lens-Artist challenge, Amy has chosen the theme On Display

I wanted to share something a little different, that people might not be familiar with. I chose this display of halva, taken in the Mahane Yehuda Market, often referred to as “The Shuk, in Jerusalem. Halva is a sweet confection which comes in many flavors, as you can tell from the labels. You tell the proprietor how much you want and he cuts off a slice and boxes it up.  To me, halva is delicious!
