This week Tina has chosen the theme “Distance” for the weekly Lens-Artists Challenge. I re-visited my photos from our trip to Africa in 2015. This beautiful Cheetah was certainly letting us know that we needed to “keep our distance”!
Tina also asked us to share what we are doing to keep active and busy during this time of isolation. I am walking every day and and have had several Zoom conferences with neighbors, family, book club and volunteer board. I am shooting and editing photos and keeping up with the photo challenges that I participate in weekly. I took an online class from Olympus and have experimented with some new editing techniques.
I am able to do my work as Treasurer of my volunteer organization from home and have extra responsibility collecting donations so that we can keep the shop that we run afloat. I’m helping my husband a bit as he works from home and have even resurrected my bread machine from the garage and baked a decent loaf of bread. My days are full and I am grateful for our home, our health and neighbors who have shopped for us!

Nice to see you’re able to creatively use your time well Susan. Beautiful cheetah!
