Lens-Artists Challenge: #99: Neighborhood Contrast

This week Amy has chosen the theme of Old and New  for the weekly Lens-Artists Challenge. My neighborhood was once made up of small cottages, many of which were summer retreats for people from San Francisco, 60 miles to the north.  Now it is almost impossible to find an original cottage.  Almost all have been torn down or completely remodeled.  Some of the new ones are very attractive and fit in with the neighborhood; the jury is still out on this one!

  1. What a contrasts there. Excellent choice for this theme.
Your photos reminded me the kind of changes in Seattle (some mile away from DT), they built narrow 3 level houses block after block.
