Six months in, and all of those posts on Facebook about cleaning closets and reorganizing during COVID have finally gotten to me! Photography is my passion; I’d much rather be shooting and editing than cleaning. However, I’ve decided that the time has come, and I’m going to take two weeks off from challenges (other than 52 Frames where I have an unbroken 2 1/2 year streak) to concentrate getting some things around the house organized. Among other projects, my “studio”, otherwise known as sitting room, will get a make-over, including some kind of shelving to hold all of the equipment and props that I’ve been accumulating. Stay safe and I’ll be back soon!
Now here is round-up of the challenges that I joined last week and the photos that I chose to submit-
The challenges have different themes and rules. For some, the photo must be taken the week of the challenge, for others you can dig into your archives. Some even have prizes. Many of the sites have pages on Facebook. Links are included to each challenge and the theme of the challenge is in the caption of each picture. I think that other photographers enjoy learning about new challenges. You can share links to ones that you enjoy in the comments section so that we can all check them out.

Very proud that this photo was chosen for the 52 Picks album. Out of 1600 photos submitted for the week’s theme, 52 are included in a smaller album of “standout” photos.

I did include a personal photo of a sunset representing the theme of “Inspiration” in my Lens-Artists post, but it would not have been complete without paying homage to Ruth Bader Ginsburg during this week of her passing.

Nothing wrong with a little break, Susan! I’ve been forced to clean and downsize due to our pending move. It is cathartic all in all, and I believe you will be satisfied with getting it done!

Enjoy your break!! We plan on putting our house on the market next year so closet cleaning seems like an everyday thing for me 🙂
