Long-legged Birds On our recent visit to the Baylands Nature Preserve recently I photographed this American Avocet.

    Very nice! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that wasn’t in breeding plumage. You got bonus short-legged birds in there too. LOL! We did short-legged birds on Week #16. 🙂
