This week Nancy Merrill, in her Photo A Week Challenge, has chosen the theme Christmas (or Any Other Holiday) 

We always put a Chanukah menorah in our front window.  This year we outlined the window in blue lights and I think it looks quite lovely. To me it is a reminder that our people have not always felt safe proclaiming publicly, “We are of the Jewish faith” and in some parts of the world this would still be dangerous today.  Despite what we have experienced this strange year, I still feel very blessed.
