For her Sunday Stills Challenge this week, Terri has chosen the theme 2020 Retrospective.
Under normal circumstances my favorites would surely include a selection of travel photos, but for most of 2020 I was sequestered at home, as was almost everyone else. The monarch butterfly is from my only trip; taken in Costa Rica. I learned to look for the beauty in my own backyard, to try to be creative and learn new skills in my studio, and to hone my editing tools. I also completed a Pandemic Porch Portraits project and chose two favorite photos from that project. I combed through my photos and here is a gallery of my favorites.

Your 2020 retrospective in images is amazing, Susan. I remember how hard you worked coordinating the porch project. What a worthy endeavor. I hope the Bay area is faring better than Socal these days. I still get the KCRA app to read whats going on in Sacramento. Hope your 2021 has started well!

Thank you so much, Terri. Our hospitals are not as overwhelmed as SoCal, but we are strictly isolating except for absolutely essential forays out. I’m really looking forward to your posts from your new home.
