I couldn’t come up with anything more unusual than ducks or doves, so I am sharing this happy duck taken a couple of weeks ago at Almaden Lake Park.

Your post went into my spam folder for some reason. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner. I only check it once a week. I can’t tell what kind of duck that is, but it looks like an American Coot. They swim and dive like ducks but their feet are more like chickens. Still great to see! 🙂

It’s been happening ever so often. The spammers have latched on to Bird Weekly. Last week and two weeks ago it happened to two of our regulars. 🙂 If I had time to go in every day, I would have caught it sooner. I usually do it on Thursday or Friday. 🙂
