The theme for this week’s Bird Weekly challenge, hosted by Lisa of Our Eyes Open is
Birds Seen in the Past Two Weeks. I am loving being in Hawaii and seeing birds that we don’t have at home in California. I especially love the Red Crested Cardinal, because we don’t have any cardinals in California.

The flamingoes at the Westin Hotel are also lovely to watch, although the quality of this photo is not great.

Very nice contrast on the Canada Goose! Just like a duck to water! Love it! 🙂

One of these days I’ll get more of the identities right!

You are doing great! I hope I can continue to help with your identifications. Really, that is how we learn. I’m being taught by others too. Better to pass on knowledged than something like covid. I’m selective on what I share. LOL! JK! 🙂 Trying to make light of the anger inside me from the spring breakers in Florida this year and our poor excuse of a governor.

I am a big fan of monochrome! This shot of a duck drinking water is stunning, especially the slight ripple in the water.

How awesome to be in Hawaii. My dad lived in Maui when he passed away almost 6 years ago. He loved it! I love this Red Crested Cardinal. I wished I had been into birds when I was on the Big Island in 1984 but I was 18 and too busy partying. 🙂
