Lens-Artists #144: First Flight

This week Amy is the guest host of the Lens-Artists Challenge and her theme is Taking Flight. I watched the life cycle of a monarch butterfly in my backyard, and was incredibly fortunate to be right there when it emerged from it’s cocoon.  This is the butterfly just moments after emerging, ready spread it’s wings and take flight.
