My Photo Week in Review: 05-16-2021

I’m going to change up my Week in Review and begin with photos from our walk yesterday morning and some from our yard at home. I will close with those photos which I submitted to challenges over the past week.

Last Saturday we had to leave Rancho San Antonio Preserve  when we arrived at about 9:30 a.m. because the parking lots were full. Yesterday we returned  at 7:00 a.m. and barely got a place!  I had been told by my friend, Marilyn, about a nest of owlets at the Preserve, and although we found the tree that she told me the nest was in, we couldn’t spot it.  We had a very nice chat with another photographer, but he couldn’t find it either. We did see some wonderful animals, including three bucks.  One appears to be very young.

After returning home, I was treated to hummingbirds at my feeder, the first finches to find my tube feeder, the first flower of the year on my hibiscus bush, and mama Dove sitting on her eggs.

  1. You had a great walk, Susan. I guess we got used to fewer crowds before we got vaccinated!
