This week Anne-Christine is the host of the Lens-Artists Challenge and her theme is Spots and Dots.
I reached back to my archives from our 2015 trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe and found several animals that fit the theme. I think my photography skills have improved some since then.

Gorgeous animals. Even though I’ve read that the Cheetah were used as pets I’m not sure I’d be on board with having one…imagine the litter box you’d need!

Beautiful spots – but what happened to the cheetah?

He had been abandoned and was raised in a wildlife center. They brought him out on his leash and we got to pose with him. Sadly, a couple of years later we heard that he had died. I don’t know how.

That last picture is arresting, Susan. What is he saying, I wonder? He seems not to mind, maybe he’s resigned, but wow, what a shot.
