Last week I bought a beautiful bouquet of Peonies, one of my favorite flowers. As they were beginning to open I pulled out my macro lens and photographed them from different angles. My photo club was having a meeting of a special interest group called “Seeing in Sixes”. I assembled six of the photos into a slide show and presented them at the meeting. Several days later as the color had faded and the petals were dropping I made the last photo of my beautiful bouquet before I had to throw it out.

Probably my favorite too Susan (altho sunflowers are a strong competitor!). It seeks to me thought that every time I bring one indoors there are ants in it. Do you find that? Glorious images – I really like the final image where they’re past their prime

Thanks Tina, I have read about ants being a problem. I bought them at Trader Joe’s and had no problem.
