You may remember seeing this photo before. It is one of my favorites. I joined the local photo club four months ago and each month they have a judged competition in several different categories. I was very pleased and honored to receive my first recognition this month, placing second in the “Creative” category for “Get Cracking!”.

The challenges have different themes and rules.  For some, the photo must be taken the week of the challenge, for others you can dig into your archives.  Some even have prizes.  Many of the sites have pages on Facebook.  Links are included to each challenge and the theme of the challenge is in the caption of each picture.
