Last week we were in Palm Desert for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a wonderful time with family after not being together for two years. We went on a tour of the very beautiful Sunnylands, the estate of Walter and Leonore Annenburg. We also visited Joshua Tree National Park, but our GPS directed us to the wrong entrance and we didn’t see much. We will go back again! I enjoyed photographing hummingbirds on the grounds of our resort. Here are a few photos from our time in the desert.
And now for my round-up of the photos that I chose to submit to a number of photo challenges this past week. To read and view my original blog posts, you will find the links on my home page https://musinwithsusan.com/.
The challenges have different themes and rules. For some, the photo must be taken the week of the challenge, for others you can dig into your archives. Some even have prizes. Many of the sites have pages on Facebook. Links are included to each challenge and the theme of the challenge is in the caption of each picture.
