I submit to several challenges each week, so my posts are usually short. How do I sum up what I’ve learned from travel in one or two photos!

When we visit a new place I can’t wait to learn something about the people and their culture. This photo was taken at the market in the town square in Corinto, Nicaragua. We see the colorful handiwork of the people of this country displayed in the market stalls.

In Jerusalem the Orthodox Jews bake all night on Thursdays in preparation for the sabbath, which begins at sundown on Friday. We took a fascinating night tour of the ultra orthodox section of town and visited several bakeries.
